This morning, I came across of this very generously priced vacation package for two from one of the country’s popular travel sites. It’s a romantic 2-night stay for 2 in Palawan with round trip airfare, hotel accommodation and island hopping for just about $240 instead of $380 something. That’s over a hundred bucks savings.

Voucher validity runs until June 2013. The problem is, there’s only a day left to buy. Huhuhu… This sure is going to be more than what you can ask for a deal but where on earth will I get 240 bucks to buy it? (Sobs) This really made me wish there’s someone who could offer me for an instant cash loan right now. Would really be great, haha!

Anyway, just so you know why I am acting like… it is because I was tasked to look for places to visit  in preparation for my man’s second visit in October. (Sigh!)

That was around midweek, I ended up clueless and didn’t know what to do so I consulted MommyRuby of PMC since she was the one who gave and hosted the domain. Chances were, I must have triggered something to cause the server to block the domain – that’s according to her. So I’ve waited till she told me when to try loading the page again. After over an hour of waiting it came back and again however it happened, I don’t know, LOL! I was just glad it did and so the tweaking went on.

I thought my worries ended there. But not until when I was about to publish my introductory post this afternoon and it acted up once again. (Sigh!)

It was Monday when this new domain was awarded to me and now it’s making me sad I can’t even launch it before the new Monday comes as I have planned.

And because it’s holiday, I was able to catch and talk to some friends online early in the morning. To me doing it is nothing ordinary. I only get to talk to my friends during weekends, if not late at weeknights and from their end I felt how glad they were to have such a 3-long day break from work. Times like these reminds me of my old working days where any holiday announcements made by our boss will really make everyone happy and giddy – the kind of feelings that I so miss for a very long time now.

How I wish like my friends, I could still see and feel the difference of the two different days – the working and the non-working days or just even the difference between the weekdays and weekends.

And to those who envy for not having the life like I have (where I could sit, eat, sleep and wake up the following morning without the need to rush or beat the time)… stop the CRAP! You have no idea how is it like to live like I do.

I mean what I wrote in my last entry below. I needed the job for every reasons there is I can think of (to feel good about myself, to pay my own way including my needs and wants without necessitating my self too much to feel bad over something I can’t get, and perhaps to save for the future as I can).

But just as I have gathered my thoughts together, some surprising  news came along. It was  from JK telling that he may finally make it towards the end quarter of the year -  October to be exact and hopefully nothing more will come in the way. That news really made me want to cry out of my heart’s exaltation but a part of my mind refuse to celebrate yet until I receive feedback about the status of my recent job application.

To cut the story short, I didn’t want the idea of him coming over while I will be at work (granting I’ll be hired) and not able to spend quality time with him. So with my eagerness to find things out as quick as I can, I made an immediate follow up of my application and again to make the story short, it didn’t turn out very well. What can you expect from a Filipino government and their employment system, anyway?  Although we’re not told that we’re totally out of chance but I somehow feel and see where the whole thing’s  heading.

So that’s it! I walked home all torn. Should I really be happy? I should have. After all, I’ve been waiting for this moment for nearly three years to come. So I can at least assume now that I can be there for him when he comes over. But why do I still feel disappointed? I truly was and I hope I can just get past it. Well, maybe in time. Or better yet, believe and have faith for what God has planned for me.

And then from the city brother came home with a new iPod. He brought us burgers and fries too. Ah! That somehow filled my cravings. I gotta eat first of course because I know he’s going to ask me later to fill his new gadget with his favorite songs. Again, instead of working on a post, I ended up watching the local primetime series while downloading the songs.
