Well at moms is where they get to play indoor and outdoor games and to mine for the online ones. Thank God I already had my old desktop computer fixed. I have weeks left to download new games for them. This time I might also include bingo games for kids if not print some printable bingo cards… colorful ones.  Or maybe take them to online bingo game site for kids sometimes to let them see and experience the difference.

This game had taken a long way so far being a new addition to their recreation activities during their free time. Mom will take home some bingo cards from school they can play with together on weekends.

By the way, my mom is retired high school teacher. But at 56 she is still very much capable to teach so she took the part-time job from the same school and this time teaching elementary pupils. Every once in a while they organize a Bingo day as fun way of educating their students. They also have started making it part of their activities on some important school occasions too like Teacher’s Day, Parent’s Day, School Foundation Days and Fiestas.

Bingo games are fun way of reinforcing the basics of any subjects and not to mention how it teaches the kids the virtue of patience. Perhaps there are only few people around especially parents realizes it. But it’s about time we stop looking at Bingo the conventional way – a game played by spectacled old women in large halls filled with smoke. Whether we like it or not, time is changing and along with that change comes also the advent of online bingo sites which are liked by millions of kids all over the world.

Movie download is still on. That’s all I have been doing since yesterday other than chatting with friends on Facebook. Oh and I have watched some too at the same time. One download got completed – a supposed Adam Sandler’s new movie called Jack and Jill. So I started playing it and first saw, actor Freddie Prinze, Jr. I thought he was part of the movie so I kept watching on. Then the next part took place but still there’s no Adam Sandler. Then here comes the next… still no Adam Sandler. Where on earth is Adam Sandler?

Can’t keep up with the confusion, I stopped the movie and run it from the beginning and there the title reads: JACK AND JILL vs. THE WORLD (a 2008 movie).

Ha-ha-ha!!! How crazy do you think was that?

I was going to go back to the site where I downloaded it from and whine of false download info but on the second thought, I still did enjoy the movie anyway so I just kept my calm.

Downloading right now is Justine Timberlake’s IN TIME. Though I already have watched it with JK in a movie theater last month, I still wanted a hard copy of it. It should be over in less time and right next on the queue should be the right Jack and Jill movie that I’ve been first meaning to download.

COOKING!!!

With all pride I am presenting to you my very FIRST hash browns making attempt!

Prior to this event, I already have actually searched for hash browns’ ingredients and its cooking preparation. Needless to say there were tons of them from different websites but I had to do a little modification with mine.

For ingredients, I’ve had:

6 Medium potatoes (peeled and shredded)
1 Egg (whisk in a separate bowl)
2 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. all purpose flour
1 tsp white ground pepper
Enough salt to season well

Preparation:

Shred and dry potatoes thoroughly by squeezing in a kitchen towel. In a mixing bowl, add all ingredients and mix well. Take some of the hash brown mixture and shape into a round, oblong or maybe square thin patty and deep fry. They will usually take 10-15 minutes to cook.

Best served and eaten with mixed veggies on butter and egg.
