Our Way of Celebrating Easter Sunday

Easter or Resurrection Sunday is a Festival and holiday celebrating the resurrection of Jesus from the dead, described in the New Testament as having occurred on the third day of his burial after his crucifixion by the Romans at Calvary. It is the culmination of the Passion of Jesus, preceded by Great Lent, a forty-day period of fasting, prayer, and penance. (Wikipedia)

Most Christians celebrate Easter by going to the beach, having a party, and holding the most popular and exciting Easter Egg Hunting game.

We have had the game at home. Saturday, I asked the kids to make Easter Eggs using just about anything they could. They were giddy about it.

I didn’t expect it would turn out this crafty…

After hearing the Mass early in the morning, I started hiding the eggs while everyone is busy doing their thing. I hid 6 eggs ( a supposed 7 if they didn’t break the other one) just around mom’s house. A little later, I started wailing, “Easter Egg Hunt!“, making all of them, including the adults 😀 to come out. LOL!

Here are some of the scenario at home while hunting for those eggs. 😀

And finally, these hunters came out to be the happy quick ones!

So they kept the egg and the cash prize along with it. 🙂

Happy Easter 2017!
