An Encounter with this Year's Tallest Christmas Tree in the Philippines

November 20, 2016

Located at the Capitol ground of Tagum City, this 172.5 feet tall tree that flashes hundreds of lights at each stroke of six was set open to public early this month. The city's Capitol ground became an instant public holiday park where local folks and people from nearby places can hang out to while having a gaze at the spectacular gigantic tree. Local vendors selling finger food, trinkets, character balloons and flashing toys are also present at the place.

I had a glance at it for the first time yesterday. Thanks to the people who invited me. It wasn't in my itinerary. I didn't even have the idea it was there. If not for them, I wouldn't have had this keepsake - a photo of me with the giant tree at the background.

What so special about it is that it gives a good venue for families and friends to bond together while enjoying the view.  Truly, Christmas is undeniably getting so near. This experience reminds me of putting on the same tree but absolutely not as huge as this. :D
