camiguin summer escapade: day 3

June 02, 2010

The third of May marks the official Barangay Fiesta of Lawigan but even that special occasion didn't stop us to start taking a trip around this small pear-shaped island. We started exactly after lunch. Everyone was full so all we had to carry is water and few bags of chips and crackers for the kids.

Our first stop...

Sto. Niño Cold Spring
Just few kilometers away from Benoni Port

second stop...

San Nicolas de Tolentino Church
Mambajao, Camiguin

I think we stayed here for about an hour for a break, got something cold to freshen up everyone. The others lighted up a candle while the kids were having a little bit fun at the mini playground situated across the church structure.

Then we finally headed to our last stop for the day...

After a very relaxing time spent soaking at the hot spring water, dinner was served to by the serving restaurant at the resort so we actually left and drove back to the house with full stomach!
