It’s been about 20 years now since my first and last visit in this small yet so breathtaking island province of Camiguin located off the northern coast of Mindanao.
We’re lucky we have families and relatives to visit in this beautiful place particularly in Catarman. Each year my mom’s family always makes it a point not to miss their annual fiesta celebration so they could also bond together with their relatives and teen hood friends back in the place. That’s how tight the bond of our clan is.
The trip back to the island is set next week. I’m really hoping to go with them this time. Think this is a much-needed vacation I should be getting after the saga of boredom I have been feeling lately. However, I doubt if I ever get to find means to cover myself for that 5-day trip. That I need to find out asap.

Camiguin can be viewed in front of Cagayan de Oro City but believe me, I haven’t been there.
